  1. But then all our users have to do the same right? Which sucks.
  2. I must admit I haven't tried doing that in the new 2.1.1. But it didn't work the last couple of times I tried that in 2.1
  3. Launcher/pack Version: Tekkit 2.1.1 Operating System: Linux Version of Java: 7 (this isn't the issue) Description of Problem: After a smoth run all day I go to bed and come back to a offline server... Apparently some kids been toying around with computercraft and tried to make a "chat" :S Error Messages: The only real error message in the log file was the following: "2012-03-08 20:50:02 [iNFO] ComputerCraft: Warning! Failed to abort a Computer. Dangling lua thread could cause errors." I wasn't the one bringing the server back online, but apparently they weren't able to do so before rolling back the server. Which makes me believe some bad coding was made by our users. Therefore I wan't to ask if there is a easy way to turn of computercraft? Or maybe restrict it to only trusted people?
  4. I can confirm this bug and specify it a bit If you connect a Centrifuge Extractor or/an Singularity compressor or/an rotary macerator to any power greater then low voltage it will suck up insane amounts of energy. It will basically suck up as much energy it can get on that particular grid. Mean if you connect to a medium voltage it will suck 128eu/t and etc. But like I said it is only those 3 from the advanced machine that does it. The induction furnace still works correctly, even when on a medium voltage grid.
  5. We had the same problem on our server, and I managed to make a quick fix to this by added the following recipes to the custom_recipes.txt in the plugins folder. SHAPED 4060 + 20 + 4060 = 4303 UNSHAPED 4303 + 4065 = 4304 This adds the teleport pipe and the waterproof teleport pipe. The powered teleport pipe seemed to be working just fine. I don't know about the chunkloader block though, but I hope there is no such thing, because it will put way too much stress on our server if all our machines keept running even when people were offline...
  6. Hehe well it is almost 700mb upload of region files everytime I have to test this on the live server. On my local host I can't seem to recreate the problem. But I have used the 1.5 converter now, and will soon be done uploading. Then I will write back here when it is done :)
  7. Now I got two different links http://midas-gold.googlecode.com/files/WorldUpdater1.5.jar and http://midas-gold.googlecode.com/files/WorldUpdater1.4.jar I guess I will use the 1.5?
  8. I used this one: http://www.mediafire.com/?bn681huf12q9x5m Is that the wrong one?
  9. I believe it is the same issue we have on our server... Though it is only in certain areas. Also the funny thing about the bug is that it doesn't bring down the server, it isn't even giving a error or anything. Which makes me believe it is something on the client end. Something graphical?
  10. Re: Combustion Engine Right Click bug for Tekkit 2.1 Having the same issue on our SMP server. Also we have used the converter from 1.1.4 to 2.1. Maybe there lies the issue?
  11. wow thanks, will check it out now :)
  12. Is there going to be a world converter from 1.1.4 to 2.1? Since it seems that the 1.1.4 to 2.0 converter removes all the solar panels. Also the IDs for solar pannels from 1.1.4 to 2.1 have changed, as it looks.
  13. Hmmm... The note to Tekkit 2 still says: "TAKE NOTE THAT ADVANCED MACHINES IS NOT IN THIS TEKKIT RELEASE, AS IT HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED FOR THE NEW IC2." Shouldn't this be changed to something more accurate? I mean it is out for a couple of days now...
  14. Well for us who have been running a server for months now and have huge solar arrays panels and such would very much prefer if they get added in. I don't know exactly what you are talking about with overclocked furnaces, since I am still playing 1.1.4 until I see Tekkit 2.0 meet the basic requirements for our needs.
  15. As you can see here: http://www.mcportcentral.co.za/index.php?topic=1360.0 Advanced machines has been updated and ported yesterday. So can we expect it to be in the Tekkit pack any time soon? Since we are still running 1.1.4 to keep all our solar arrays. Also will the converter still work when the advanced machines gets added to the pack?
  16. Thank god :)
  17. Will advanced machines get added to the tekkit when it has been ported over? Since on our 1.1.4 server there is quite a few solar arrays I tell you, and they will not be happy :S
  18. Update to Java 7 ;)
