The reboot message ~14 hours ago said something along the lines of "rebooting with last night's backup", so we might all have lost a day's work. They don't seem to be part of any normal tree breeding, rather should be getting silver limes. I do get apple oaks. I don't know how it works, other ones just assign the ownership of a chunk or blocks to certain players. My biggest issue with solar arrays is they take one billion clicks to craft, the mining world provides me with enough riches to make 'em (ok, maybe the rubber). I requested Power Converters for other renewable alternatives, and I guess that's coming. There's also http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1558714-151-smp-easy-crafting-automatic-crafting-table-one-click-craft/ easy crafting table which works for technic things. Until I figure out how to make massive arrays of xy fabricators ps.: just sell solars at the shop for lots of diamonds, I WILL BUY p.ps: or a public power net to draw upon, ohohoho! now that'd be fancy.

You can edit your posts, Mister Flip Today I've been getting an error when using the button on the chests to organize their inventory; not permitted because of converting renewable materials to non-renewable. It happens in some chests but not others, so obviously linked to specific blocks stored in said chests. I sometimes get similar "no permissions for x and z" spam in the chat, but I can't quite see what exactly caused it to happen. What happens when ranks start to work, though? If you've already built up some technology, but sit at Farmer level? I know I can use the machines I've placed down.

I have a mod suggestion now! Power Converters! I heard about these water strainers, should be a good, cheap way to make reliable EU. I don't know if they're too cheatypants, I'll let you judge. Easy Crafting Table is also a useful one, has a few flaws with the other mods but it works. Used to use these decoratives mods, but microblocks pretty much covers it. NEI doesn't have all the Forestry recipes, by the way. I think you can safely get home by /home or /spawn, it seems to work across dimensional borders. Unless you are stuck in a loop of dying in the void. Otherwise... I'm busy building my volcano top house! I've asked two friends if they're interesting in joining, since we had a little tekkit server together earlier.

I want to build crazy tekkit/modded systems with other people. Learn the mods by seeing how others use them. Go on hikes in the twilight forest. Hang out, joke, and have fun.

It also seems to create a number of industrial credits when making recipes involving refined iron (stored as ingots or machine blocks). And I mean a number not divisible by 9, so I don't know if I can trust it to use the right amount of materials :/ Not tested with the newest version. A more quirky ability is it seems to be able to convert ingots between mods, mostly useful if you find their specific storage blocks prettier. At least I have no problems using the ingots interchangeably (no need to convert).

I have a sword with Vorpal and Looting, gives me a bunch of mobheads. Maybeee RP2 also modifies mob heads to be able to drop in general, if you don't have a Vorpal enchantment right now.

What is the best way to then remove Optifine? i.e. make it grab a new modpack.jar without grabbing a whole new tekkit lite package?

Seconded. My wrist hates me for mining without Efficiency, too. The extra modded echantments are so-so - your mileage may vary. Vorpal = lots of mod heads to hang on the wall Oh, I see, but not if you macerate first. So the true problem is macerators not awarding XP from ores. It looks like I can make an automatic enchanting table though, to run on EU, so that is a thing I can try. I wonder if Factorization will make a similar machine to repair things in.

Whuh - really? Because repair talisman certainly doesn't. Didn't, anyway. While anvils are fun as you say, as long as you have an xp grinder or breeding farm set up If you don't, no. IC furnaces don't reward XP from smelting at the moment, making the XP economy is a little meh. Covalence dust, I'm not sure is less balanced than XP farms. For me, I have tons of resources from mining, but little XP, EE gives me a chance to convert, in a sense. And I'd be OK with it being more expensive (or slow, in the case of repair talisman+alchemy bag), if that's what it took to make it fair. Fun thing is, some googling reveals there's new dusts coming up, just that no one knows what they do yet (except Pahimar), and from what he originally said about EE3 was he'd remove condensers, redmatter and energy collectors - to which I am guessing the rest is coming back in some way or form. There's clearly things missing right now, such as alchemy bags with no way to craft them etc. To answer OP's question, I think the repair dust will come back, and I welcome it!

It's the same seed, but it will generate the updated nether ores (if that was what you wanted). It's what I did. What you can do if you want a NEW nether, is make a new world (perhaps in Creative), create a quick portal and hop in and generate some Nether. Then copypaste that new nether data over to replace your old nether. I saw this mentioned when googling how to simply regenerate it earlier, it's probably going to be fiddly so do backup your save or just your old nether (simply rename the folder). How that replaced Nether behaves when you move onto generate new chunks, I don't know.
