  1. You can save pages files as word documents. problem solved. The second report will be out later today. Just need to finish one or two more things.
  2. The current Minecraft version is 1.3.2. the current Tekkit version is 3.1.2 for minecraft 1.2.5. The mods will be updated when a new version of tekkit comes out (most likely Tekkit 4.0.0 for minecraft 1.3.2). And before you ask when that will be, I suggest you read the rules, as they clearly state that you are not supposed to ask for ETAs.
  3. There is a duck in your sorting sytem. It has gummed uo the works, causing it to send items to the wrong places, and sometimes not work at all. You will need to build it a nest and then lure it out of the sorting machine with the flesh of baby rabbits.
  4. I think I have some sandwiches left over from the "Account Hacker Caught" thread. I don't know if they're any good still. I wonder if Necromancy works on food... Can I have some too?
  5. Zeppelin Mod: Single Player only currently, was removed from technic for bugginess Secret Rooms Mod: I have no clue whether the Technic Developers want to add this or not Balkon's Weapons Mod: Already in the pack Rocket Science Mod: Again, no clue Vehicles Mod: Was in Technic (I think) but was removed SDK Gun Mod: Was removed from technic Planes Mod: Incompatible with Forge Tanks Mod: Incompatible with Forge (I'm assuming that it is one of Flan's mods) SMP Hidden Door Mod: Why would you want this if you've already asked for secret rooms mod? CCTV Camera Mod: Not sure about this one Helicopter Mod: If it's made by Flan, it is incompatible with Forge Artillery Gun - Ballerburg - Mod: Never heard of it, so no idea what the devs have planned (if anything) for it Factions Mod: Pretty sure this is a plugin, not a mod Spino's Vehicles: Again, never heard of it, so no clue Any of Flan's mods: Incompatible with Forge Iconomy: This is a plugin Portcullis Mod: Someone has already linked a ported version of it, but no clue if the devs have anything planned for it And before you ask for Forestry to be re-added Forestry: Never coming back to Technic/Tekkit because the mod author decided to be a dick bag and insert malicious code into his mod that disabled certain parts of his mod and caused other parts to go crazy if it detected it was being launched from the .techniclauncher folder. And before you ask for Better Than Wolves to be added BTW: The author is a terrible coder who hates Forge and Eloraam and has decided to make his mod as incompatible with other mods as possible.
  6. Indeed it would. (I was wondering how long it would take you to say that.)
  7. Speaking of real reactors, I live 50 miles from the largest nuclear power plant in the United States, the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station.
  8. Actually, you can automate it using a vanilla timer (bulky, vanilla redstone and repeaters, but it works) as a timer, and have an alchemical chest with a blackhole band in it. Second, not every combination of two mods creates exploits. A perfect example is Forestry and Buildcraft. They are designed to work together. Third, I will justify my arbitrary descisions if I want to.
  9. I gave up necromancy as a job. Now it's just a hobby.
  10. I believe he's a nuclear engineer, or studying to be one. Can't remember which thread it was that he said it in.
  11. A nuclear one at that!
  12. And this entire thread is a perfect example of a good error report. THe original poster clearly states his problem, and listens to the advice of people replying to him. He also makes an effort to solve his problem himself. He is polite, respectful, and has read the rules. This man should be given a medal for being intelligent
  13. Why not? The expected wattage is like 280, so why wouldn't a 300w PSU run it? (I am completely ignorant of how the inside of a computer works, I'm a software guy, not a hardware guy.)
  14. Gavjenks, if you had read his entire post, you would have seen that he said that using obsidian pipes was optional, as well as the timers. You could do the reed farm in vanilla minecraft (I actually have a friend on a vanilla server who made a semi automatic reed, melon, pumpkin, cactus, and wheat farm). As for IC and BC, one of the developers of BC (SirSengir) has made a mod (Forestry) that is meant to combine IC2 and BC, so I think that the BC devs want the mods to work together flawlessly. As for your Hoover damn comments, you're right, the hoover damn wouldn't work inside an airtight box. But you forget that Minecraft physics and real world physics are not the same. And, according to your logic that "generating more power than was used in the process of generating", redstone engines are an exploit, as they generate MJs out of nothing. And if your argument is that they convert redstone power to MJs, then don't auto water mills do the same, since you need a redstone signal to get the filters to pull items. Redstone itself defies the (real world) laws of physics, as it generates power out of nothing. That's why eloraam made blutricity, to have a power system that works like real world power does. Edit: The forums automatically convert Sir Sengir (without the space) into sir buttivere of dumbtable. What happened to this?
  15. I don't know about the other reporters, but I type my reports up in the Pages app, and just copy/paste the text from them into the forum post. It makes editing and saving easier. So uploading as a PDF is not an option, as converting a pages file to pdf, while easier on iPad than it is on a PC, is still a pain in the arse. And uploading it as an attachment would be even harder. Maybe in the future (if I have a lot of spare time) I will upload some PDF versions of the reports, but don't expect it any time soon.
  16. Water mills are actually not generating more energy from "falling" water than it takes to "lift" it. You could think of it as getting power from a falling spring, like the hoover dam produces electricity from river water going through turbines. I don't see you calling the hoover damn an "exploit". And the whole problem really comes from minecraft mechanics and physics being stupid, as if it was coded properly, there would be finite water. And speaking of minecraft physics, there is no rule in minecraft that says that energy must be conserved. Trying to apply the law of thermodynamics to minecraft is like trying to drink liquid nitrogen. It's stupid. Edit: Of course EE is stupid and OP, haven't you read this yet?
  17. Filters can only suck items out of an inventory directly, not through connected tubes. So if you want to hook up multiple water mills, you need to have a retriever. Edit: The blobfish ninjaed me
  18. Actually, it doesn't provide more power than it uses, you need to use blutricity to run the retriever. So it isn't an exploit. You could even say it is a way to convert blutricity into EU/t.
  19. I have to disagree with you here. Equivalent Exchange 2 is overpowered as Hell, especially when used with other mods. I suggest you take a look at this to find out more.
  20. Hello, and welcome to The GreenWolf Report Main Thread. Here you can find links to every report, and find out what I have planned for The Report! Reports Report 1: Equivalent Exchange 2 Report 2: UU-matter Report 3: Minecraft for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live Arcade Certification Report 4: Quarries Report 5: Forge and Java Report 6: Interview with Jakj Report 7: Minecraft Update 1.4.2 Report 8: ThaumCraft 2 Special Edition: Deus Ex: Human Revolution About The GreenWolf Report The GreenWolf Report is a report on Minecraft, Minecraft mods, modders, and modding, and anything else Minecraft related. Each week on Monday and Thursday, I will release a new report. Every fifth report will deal with important subjects, i.e. Forge, Modpacks, etc... Every tenth report will deal with a large controversial topic, i.e. Modpack Permissions, Closed-Source Modding, etc... Once in a while, I will do a Special Edition Report on a subject not related to Minecraft. Every now and again, I will have a guest reporter write a report. I will also regularly have people help me in researching different subjects for the report. As a final note, I would like to say that the views of The GreenWolf Report and it's reporters are not the views of the Technic Pack Developers, Technic Pack Forum Moderators, or anyone else unless otherwise stated by that person. Current Researchers and Reporters GreenWolf13 Watchful 11 Mooseman9 If you wish to help me with research or reporting, please post a reply here stating that you would like to help, and whether you want to be a reporter or a researcher.
  21. Succumbing to peer pressure, I made this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ixOO
  22. I can think of some people who might beed more than three moniors: Youtubers and Pro Gamers Youtuber Monitor 1: Game they are recording (full screen) Monitor 2: Control panel for recording (fraps, sound settings, skype/teamspeak[may go on monitor 3]) Monitor 3: Chat (teamspeak/skype chat, irc, livestream comments) Monitor 4: Game Wiki or Walkthrough, Adventure map instructions, etc.. (non chat text) Pro Gamer Monitor 1: Game they are playing Monitor 2: Skype/Teamspeak (chat) Monitor 3: Wiki or other browser based text (irc if not on second monitor) Monitor 4: Steam or other digital distribution platform Some of these could probably be condensed down, but a pro gamer and a youtuber are both people who can use 3 or more screens.
