The public folder is a lot easier if you have to manage multiple downloads, like me. :)

The modpack works fine, it's just that somehow the login doesn't work correctly. It will still show my skin in-game and all, just not connect to the server.
Everything seems to work correctly on build 253 of the launcher.

It would be nice to see some new servers on the deluxe server list, I've been trying to get on there myself. ;)

I've been getting the 'Disconnected: Bad Login' error whenever I try to connect to a 1.5.2 server with a 1.5.2 modpack on the beta launcher.

Your modpack.jar and my Forge file were different in size, try redownloading Forge for the modpack. Maybe the latest 1.5.2 build: 7.8.1.738.

As the title says, this thread is about a listener for modpack +1 votes.
I run a server known as The Saturn Server (shameless advertising
http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/41573/) and when one of my players give my modpack, Technolution, a +1, they receive 10 diamonds. At the moment I have to do this manually, but it's a tedious job and I can imagine servers with a lot of people can't do such a thing. The modpack is now past the point that new votes don't show up anymore.My idea is to create a listener for modpack +1 vote, somewhat like Votifier.
I hope that the Technic team sees this and will consider my idea.

Technolution 3 has been released and deployed on the server!

You are able to click on the items in the crafting grid which takes you to it's wiki page. How did they do that?

Hello, my name is Ionaru and I'm a server owner. I started in June 2012 with a little tekkit 2 server on a spare pc at home, since then a lot has happened.
Now I'm the proud owner of The Saturn Server and GammaCraft.
GammaCraft is a new anarchy server running a custom modpack: 'Radz'. My goal was to take the Voltz/Ampz concept and improve upon it, and I think I succeeded.
Radz has a few extra mods like Redpower and Buildcraft to bring more automation to Universal Electricity and ICBM. It is now possible to build entirely automatic missile factories and launchers. Extrabiomes and UndergroundBiomes were added to make the world a bit more interesting.
It's important to note that even while Radz has extra mods, it is still compatible with Voltz/Ampz 1.13 servers.

Connect to the server
To connect to The Saturn Server, please follow these steps.
1. Download and open the Technic launcher http://technicpack.net/download
2. Scroll to 'Add new pack' and click on it
3. When prompted, insert the modpack link: http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/radz
4. Click 'Add modpack'
5. Enter your username and password.
6. Hit 'Launch'
7. Click 'Connect to GammaCraft' in the Minecraft menu

This seems to be a problem with your OpenGL driver, try to update it.
Also try updating Java and checking if you got the correct version of OptiFine (1.4.7 Ultra)

Most mods generate a special configuration file (.cfg) in the /config folder. Open those with your favorite text editor (I recommend Notepad++) and edit the block/item IDs

There's a problem with that system though, many servers apply whitelists and require their players to post a little application to join. Every time someone posts an application, the thread gets bumped to the top of the list.
This is a bit of an unfair advantage against servers that don't have a whitelist (like mine).
But I do agree with you, the system can be improved.
