Technic Launcher, Great idea, horrible implimentation.
Jay? replied to Ulasht Lazarev's topic in The Whale Box
There go's that crazy Jay?, arguing with bad posts again. for ease of viewing, my responses will be in bold italic. -
Stickies are the threads that are pinned to the top of the list of threads so that you can always see them when you're in the forum. Just like on every other forum on the internet. http://howtouseaforum.com/ Let me know if you need me to find the "for Ten and under" edition for you.
-
That is not an excuse to not know where to find stickies. They are at the top. You LITERALLY HAVE TO IGNORE THEM in order to post a thread. It's called "being aware of your surroundings" and it's a very important life skill, which protects you from things like bear traps, pot holes, and that crazy guy next door who keeps inviting you over for cupcakes.

If you read the stickies and announcements you wouldn't need to ask any questions about this.

Tell that to my rotary macerator.

How Install Mods with Technick pack Launcher *.*
Jay? replied to Kionashi's question in Technic Launcher
Re: HA I BEAT THE SYSTEM! > (How Install Mods with Technick pack Launcher) Part of that is that it's not an encouraged topic here, the other part is that with the recent new releases of technic, anyone capable of answering questions has been dealing with hundreds of awful questions a day. -
How Install Mods with Technick pack Launcher *.*
Jay? replied to Kionashi's question in Technic Launcher
Re: HA I BEAT THE SYSTEM! > (How Install Mods with Technick pack Launcher) This hat is old. someone posted this trick last week. I hope that people read this, but i doubt they will. I'd suggest you change the topic to something less antagonistic though. Also, i applaud you for doing your own work rather than begging other people to do it for you. -
I have not updated, and my Technic pack runs reasonably well. What exactly is the point of updating the lwjgl? Is it a bugfix thing, or does it improve performance. I did google this myself, but the only site that looked like it had an answer was blocked.

I heard about that, and i'm now dreading it, because the guy who directed transformers is listed as the director. He totally butchered those movies.

TechnicPack Offline Bugfix: New Launcher Begone!
Jay? replied to xXx_180_Notch_xXx's topic in The Whale Box
I can tell you with utmost certainty that that was not notch, the tecnick pack is not a virus, and that your lucky numbers are 5, 17, 43, 81, and 90. -
TechnicPack Offline Bugfix: New Launcher Begone!
Jay? replied to xXx_180_Notch_xXx's topic in The Whale Box
Oh thread of many horrors, by what dark powers have you risen? -
I can agree with that. (also that OUR conversation IS way off topic, and doesn't belong here)
-
This is a public forum, not a dev Q&A board. Opening a thread asking whether something will be added to tekkit and expecting people not to chime in with their opinions is unrealistic. Conversations develop tangentially, and topics drift on occasion, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, and attempting to move people out of your thread for commenting on something that isn't even very far from the topic at hand is also very unrealistic.
-
Assuming that nilfisk is some kind of vacuum, that is an entirely different situation. Roomba and the other vacuum folks would be direct competitors. The ideas of whether or not EE will be in tekkit, and whether or not people think that it SHOULD be in tekkit are not in competition.
-
Yes, but he asked a question that was very closely tied to what peoples opinion of the mod is. To expect people to answer his question with no outside discussion is entirely unrealistic. To try and boot them out of his thread is even worse. That just isn't how human conversation works.
-
At first i was like "Oh hey, i agree with evrything you say!", but then you signed your post. And also, there's already a thread for praise. no need to make another one.
-
Because it's obnoxious, contributes nothing, and ultimately, because they say so. Also, because the answer is always the same: When it's ready.
-
Popular consensus says stfu, we're going to put our opinions where we want. Also seriously, a global mod posted not two posts above you, im pretty sure voicing our opinions here has the stamp of approval, or at least the stamp of indifference.
-
No, none of the mods will work together, you need to install them all separately, and none of them will ever be compatible. In essence it's just a fancy crash screen.
-
You should probably go to the IC2 wiki and check how much voltage it can handle.

Re: Music and Minecraft I've actually listened to that song several times over the last week. Weird al's technical talent has always impressed me. The ability to so perfectly mimic another artists style is unusual. For instance, "Dare to be Stupid" was called (by a member of Devo) "The best Devo song thay devo didn't write." Tocata and Fugue on the Chapman stick. Absolutely beautiful.
-
Aw, dammit, now im going to have to find a new one.

Re: Music and Minecraft At the risk of pissing off pony haters, The superpony beats guy made a theme for Discord that I've been rather fond of. And this is a Doctor Who theme Mix that i can't stop listening to. Anyone old enough to remember Looney Toons will recognize this. Still waiting for someone to make a buildcraft video set to this.

Re: Music and Minecraft These is on my list of favorites as well. EDIT: Symphony of science belongs on every page. http://symphonyofscience.com/index.html
