  1. Was there an exact date already posted? 4th page, that was fast. I rather not post it myself, kitty jail would kill me due my allergies and general hate i hold against cats.. or in this case kittens >.> Not like it's sitting in there at the bottom, almost laughing at people 'Sides, my tought on Hexxit is ... i wanna try it, whatever it is c:
  2. Golden pipes blow up only if they recive more MJ than they can output. So, if you had a setup: Some Engine -> Wooden C.Pipe -> Golden C.Pipe -> Quarry , where the engine was producing more MJ than the Quarry was accepting, the golden pipe was storing any excess MJ up to the point of blowing up. Seems wooden pipes no longer eat any excess MJ if connected to other pipes.
  3. - Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun +Firestorm Expansion - Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 - Thief II: The Metal Age - Homeworld - Metal Fatigue (For God's sake, someone make the idea into modern 3d engines q.q) - Nox Those few made me buy Win98 which i keep on external drive, just when i feel like going back in time. C&C: TS is the first game i've ever played on PC. Excluding DoS PacMan that is.
  4. I've bought the game, had the subscription for like 4 months. In my opinion - was worth it, i've enjoyed every hour. Graphics are awesome, non-target system is something i prefer over |selecting| or whatever it's called. Although "learning" the moves of BAMs (Big Ass Monster) to defeat them is quite an enjoyment, they lack the surprise element once you master the moves of certain monster type. It's like "Oh this XYZ monster looks similar to ZYX i just killed, ok so i've got to just ...". Yet, every fight you are in feels differently, so i guess it's just me being picky. Gameplay is simply awesome for my needs, i like to play in teams and i do encourage any of you to play with your friedns/guildmates as it rises the level of the fun incredibly. Yet, i often like to just log-in and simply do stuff alone, the game supports lone wolfs in very good manner - basicly, you can "solo" anything in the world, it might jsut take riddiculus amount of time. Ofcourse that excludes the instanced dungeons, for which you have a convienient auto-group maker. The thing only suffers low population, as the waiting time in queues might be quite big for some classes (I was playing Lancer / tank, never had to wait more than 2min to get in). PvP? Only if you have decent PC and ISP, in case of playing lancer with very pointy attacks. I am yet to try that whole new Nexus thing, but guess i'll wait till i get that Veteran status and F2P goes live. The only few things that are quite an annoyance for me: - some walking animations at certain race/class / gender combinations ( Castanics Female Warrior : no knees walk mode...) - difficulty ( i feel the game gives not enough challenge, XP is just being stuffed at your face and general progress is too quick to enjoy side things, like daylies, Named Bosses, World Bosses (Unique Items) or Crafting - you level up so fast there is nearly no point in those. I would not consider myself a "hardcore grinder" im more of casual type)
  5. 800$ paid for: - Intel i5 3570k (4x 3,4GHz, 22nm, 6MB cache) - Asus P8Z77-V LX (LX means it doesn't have wifi and other useless *for me* stuff) - 8GB Ram Kingston Lifetime warranty series 1600Mhz (Goodram has, too, lifetime warranty and is a bit cheaper afaik) - Gigabyte Windforce HD6870 1GB DDR5 (good, quiet triple fan cooling) That's from on top of my head, some info might be off by a bit. Overall it's not the BEAST gaming rig, but i am getting 85FPS at highest graphical settings of tittles like Battlefield 3 (v-sync lock, 1280x1024 4:3 85Hz display). Edit: If you do get i5 3570k BOX, you can throw away it's fan at once. It's loud as a vacuum cleaner sucking off a pile of lead gravel...
  6. I would try to set Server-IP to IP assigned to your PC by your switch/router, forward the ports to your PC. Might be a way.
  7. Alblaka, author of IC2, is taking such requests - paid ones. Visit his blog, he made such statement a while ago. Even at official MC forums, i think. TL;DR of Alblaka's post - Contact him, describe your idea and he will name an estimated price.
  8. I require some hand here. For some reason i cannot, for the life of me, enter the forums of Tekkify. The error displays at anything beyond homepage, won't let me log it even. Screen: I can log in to the server just fine thou :s In case of need, IGN is mohrad, forum nick is the same.
  9. So, how it's going Ren? Do you intend to manualy re-whitelist anyone or there is some other work going while server is empty? Map change or ID-conflict fixes, perhaps? Or simply RL keeps ya guys occupied at the moment?
  10. Energy Link should not have side-dependant input/outputs. But it does, at some instances (my own server, server i play4fun). For example Forestry server i play, dude had his e.link powering via wooden bc pipe an apiary. Top was IC2 input, side was BC output - it was working. However, when he moved his contraption to new spot that setup ceased to work, he had to move BC wooden pipe to bottom to make it work. So, yeah, maybe E.link shouldn't have side-dependancies but apparently it sometimes does. It might be related to Multiverse bukkit plugin.
  11. Dude, look at those Sphaxy textures, they be having a plug and a hole... A PLUG and a HOLE....IC2 / BC connection hints, perhaps?
  12. Well, i am glad to hear good news. Appears Be has sorted his familiy stuff and the server Now just waiting for ren and be to sort out the whitelist, might take a while - all those pages :s
  13. I honestly don't thinks massive amount of items would be the issue here, otherwise Ren would already MCEdit it out.
