No problem , i didn't actually make any mods yet as I have to learn java first. So let's share resources Edit: I found an updated tutorial for advanced minecraft modding: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1030464-creating-mods-11-advanced-modding-tutorials/ It's for 1.1 so not outdated :P

1. Java 2. Most people use modloader but there are others, go to wiki : www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Mod to the api section to check them all out 3. Read some modding tutorial, google 'minecraft modding tutorials' 4. You will need the minecraft coder's pack to decompile the source code of minecraft. Just google: 'minecraft coder pack' or 'minecraft MCP' 5. I find this helps you with the basic setup http://www.accelerated-ideas.com/news/how-to-create-a-minecraft-mod--the-complete-tutorial.aspx 6. Re: Metropolis Blog I did it ! I made a nuke cannon , sadly the nuke has a too long charge time for it to explode in mid-air but it worked ! Also nukes can destroy obsidian apparently... this could be used in very epic ways ... muehehehe . I didn't nuke the nearby village though... Re: Metropolis Blog Steve ain't afraid of anything ! Anyway easier to make 2 tall height ceilings, more floors ina building so more things you have= profit. Also having lower ceilings mean that if, and im not saying it is, my home is not lit well enough at least no endermen or such will spawn...

(for the sake of keeping your sanity the troll face has not been included in this post) Is it me or did he/she just turn from a ok writer to someone who can't type well at all 'omk mayby' all of the sudden... Anyway technic does NOT support pirated clients, buy the game and if your younger use your pocket money otherwise use your brain and a solution is certain to present itself.

Still ain't working for me, but the workaround by jesus makes it work :)

That would be a brilliant idea if technic were to modify the launcher to allow us to put custom builds in folders and have them in the drop down of mod pack choices, this way we can switch between our own manually made modpacks without any hassle- for copyright reasosn you wouldn't be allowed to share you manual builds though. One day i might try my furustic gun pack and the next day ill try some good out viking conquests :)
