Title: Cannot log onto servers Version: 3.1.2 OS: Windows 7. 4 GB RAM. HP Pavilion g series. QuadCore Java Version: Java 7 Description of Problem: I cannot log onto any tekkit servers it just gives an error message. The economy is always unbalanced, or the staff is abusive and rude. This server seems like the use of IC2 credits balances it because (in my experience) any server using them is quite nice. I like how the map is spread out in multiple islands, so players can choose their own island. I am also glad you have some banned items to prevent destruction. Previous Bans: Three. One was from buying multiple items, combining them and selling for a higher price(I personally think it was the lazy admins fault but I do understand it was bad) Another one for combat logging. One for finding 4 diamonds during a mining rage when I broke random blocks and found diamond.

This is a different version of Technic Wars (This is being made with the permission of The_DarthMoogle) It will have a somewhat similar story line, but I will try and make it differ as many ways as possible. If none of you have seen the original Technic Wars thread then I will explain what it basically is. People who use Equivalent Exchange are warring against people who use Industrial Craft. If anyone is interested in joining me there will be a form farther down the post. The Roles Camera Person- We need someone to record the videos, preferrably someone who can put their graphics on fancy, and render distance far... if you can use Sphax PureBDCraft then that would be awesome(4 people needed) Voice Actors- People need to be able to change their voices to act as different characters(4-6 People needed including actors) Actors- 4 of these people will be the camera people. Anyways we need actors to play different parts, you can also be a voice actor while being an actor, but only voice actors will speak. (4 people needed, not including camera people) Server hoster- We need a server to use, so if you can provide one thats great(1 person needed) Builders- Obviously we need stuff built and these guys are going to build them!( 6 people needed) Form In game name: Why do you want to join in this project? Maybe 3rd party software is causing the problem, just click the clear cache button under options. Or your computer may not have enough RAM available to run

are you directing them to a power storage device? if you are then you might have the wires going in the right way. Or maybe the solar panels energy is getting eaten up by a machine too fast.

The lighting idea, from what I have heard, is literally impossible without rewriting minecraft itself

What if the server where to hold 10 people? The server would have the same conditions stated in the original post except with 10 slots.

I would like to host a server with 20-25 slots. A lot of buildcraft will be gone to reduce lag, and only one world with no anchors. How much RAM would be needed to run this on a hosting companies computer? I would also like the answer with an extra gb of RAM included. Also what would a good hosting company be? I want the cheapest one possible that has fair server performance.

Thank you for the love of my idea. But I now think that this would be impossible, because if a player got on a plane in multiplayer, and another got on as a passenger. Then when the plane moved, everything in the plan would have to move. It would lag a lot, and if someone lagged out they would probably drop out of the plane, because if they stayed on the plane when they disconnected, and the plane moved. They would be moving without being on the server, causing them to stay in the same spot as they were when they left. I think they would glitch out, and someone would have to destroy their dat file for them to play again/,

I was thinking of a mod that added airplanes into the game. Like, creating commercial airlines would be cool in multiplayer. Although it would be weird if it were an airplane that you just placed, and it appeared, so you would have to get separate pieces, and assemble together. I was thinking you could use IC2 fuel, like biofuel, or even uranium (radioactive plane). Also I am thinking that it would need about 70 blocks before taking off. I am still thinking about how the GUI would be to fly the plane, also birds could be added with the mod to simulate problems with them. And even eventually breaking after to long of use or exploding if there is a bad landing. Tell me what you think about my idea

I also like the no pvp, and then when people want pvp they just go to a pvp arena that was amazingly( from the looks of it) built. Additional Comments:I am reapplying because I recently turned 18

So, yeah can I reapply?

I want to know if 1 gb of dedicated RAM is enough to host a tekkit server with 20 slots, also most of build craft will be disabled.

The items are randomly breaking as if a player would break them, so everything is dropped.

I am getting the same problem too, its really annoying testing things on singleplayer and the red alloy wire breaks also
