ya. So when you get down to it, if you want tekkit for xbox and it somehow does happen, its no longer a free mod and pretty much becomes its own game. People loved the evolution of minecract for xbox (I have it myself and love it) but It would be harder for the tekkit team to make the game than it was for Mojang.

Seeing as they think garrys mod is fine, why not play something else thats fun, showing them you don't even need TF2. It might not get your game back but at least you'll stop complaining and they might feel more inclined to listen to your reasons later on. Works very well for me. Just don't make a big deal out of it.

Another way to say it would be like a party. You (Photons) want to get from one end of the room to another. When there is no one in the room (vacuum) you get there very fast because there is no one in your way. When there are people in the room (matter i.e. water) you bump into people and its more like a zigzag to get from one side of the room to the other. Your speed does not decrees but you travel for a longer period of time. Got to love discovery channel for these fun facts and examples. This is a crude example I know but the concept it there.

We already determined that since IC2 and BC are not in the mod pack that my point was moot and please do not use the "its my first time" excuse. You should be saying: "Oh! I did not know! I'll re-read the rules to make sure that I know what i'm doing next time! This will not happen again!" Believe me when I say that first posts are not exempt from the rules here. This would solve the problem of it being wiped but I am more trying to figure out how to make the screens write out the rules. I have not used computer craft very much and when I looked on the wiki it said to use something to do with shell. I did this and it displayed but whenever I tried to go down one line it tried to run what was put down as a program and displayed "No such Program". I would rather not have this in between every line. Thank you for solving one of the problems.

Honestly, it doesn't conduct. The only condition is that there cannot be any contaminants what so ever. I do realize that a reactor chamber will have some minute amounts so what I said about the phone is a little far fetched but the example remains the same. I never said that Xylord made a joke. First, there is an edit button. Use it instead of making a second post. Second, there are much better, faster, and cheaper solutions for mining large areas for resources (i.e. a quarry or an IC2 Miner with OV scaner are great) Third, What are the practical uses? You tell how to use one when the title says where to use them. There is not a single use for the tunnel bore listed here. Sorry for shooting you down but this needs to be fixed. I think you missed the time frame for making that joke. Would have been better if that was before Xylord did his bit. Also, pure H2O is excellent at blocking almost all types of radiation and even electricity when there's enough. If you throw a flashlight that's on into one of those reactor chambers it would stay on. Hell you could do it with a phone if you really wanted to.

Hi. I am trying to set up a rule board on the server I help run with computer craft and the monitor extensions. I have managed to figure out how to display some text on it but whenever I hit enter for another line it try's to run it as a program and also it becomes cleared whenever the server is rebooted. I know this can be done as I have seen this on other servers and want to replicate it for the one I am helping to manage. The rule board will have banned items and rules. Any Help would be appreciated.

Just putting this out there. I am now an admin to the server and as I look through theses posts I see that people are not highlighting what we need in this server. Right now what we need are people with experience with economy (set up and management) and residence. Also, we will be needing moderators in the future after the white listed stress test (we are hoping to run this like a beta late next week). The server will not be having PVP (except for a small arena which we will need help with) as of now so please do not apply if all you have to offer is help with PVP. Also, if you want to be part of the beta start applying now (Via a PM to me. NOT a post on this thread). The beta is to find any bugs (dupes/glitches/bad plugins/etc) that may be a problem. The application must include: IGN: Age: (you will not be rejected based on age, XP is what counts) Tekkit experience: (we need people with a good amount of XP and can get going fast so we can finish the beta ASAP) Why you want to be part of this beta: How many hours a week you can play: (Do not bother applying if this number is less than 6 hours. We need people to dedicate time) Do you have Skype and if so what is your username: What are your long term goals in helping the server: (Do you just want to be a beta tester or do you have ambitions to become staff?) If you are accepted you will be given the IP and you will be white listed on the server. Once we are done the beta it will become a more open white list and eventually an open server. I'll take it. As for your problem, the redstone receiver would not work with the jammer right beside it. It would have to be wired and controlled directly or the receiver would have to be out of the jammer's influence. I'm sorry if this is wrong as I have never used them but this seems like what would happen.

What exactially is the point of using a wireless jammer unless your in SMP and wanting to be a troll? I've just never seen the point in them.

Maybe... hmm. Almost thought the the reactor could just be given a blue tint when on and touching water but thinking about it that doesn't work. Unless someone want to re-code the entire lighting code of minecraft (or make one in the first place) then this probably will not happen. The concept however is extreamly cool and that would be fantastic if It could be done one day.

Maybe on the next gen xbox. I have seen a few web pages on the possibility of stripped down mods being available in the future. It would be great if this were true but It probably won't happen. keep wishing Luke.
