Juan Pol Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Hello Tekkit forums, I don't normally post in these forums at all so please forgive me if I am placing this in the wrong section but my issue is that my own private server from tekkit seems to always crash on the start up. I have copied a save of the world into a single player world to see if it was the server or the world that was broken. It seems like my world file is the problem. I was wondering if there are any known fixes for this kind of thing or if i posted the world file if someone would be kind enough to fix it for me. It would mean allot to me if i could get this world back.
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted December 2, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted December 2, 2014 Without any error logs, crash reports, system specs, Java versions, etc. it will be impossible to help you.
Moderators AetherPirate Posted December 2, 2014 Moderators Posted December 2, 2014 Remove the dimensional doors mod and try it. It has a history of corrupting worlds. Juan Pol 1
Curunir Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 What AetherPirate said will usually work, but you could simply delete the dimensions added by DDoors. Make a backup before attempting this kind of operation, in case you cut away too much. And next time, take it to the tracker. Juan Pol 1
Juan Pol Posted December 4, 2014 Author Posted December 4, 2014 OK I will give this a try as soon as I can. I will let you know if it worked out.
Juan Pol Posted December 4, 2014 Author Posted December 4, 2014 Great news that was the answer. I removed DDoors and it just popped right up. Thanks you so much guys this means so much to my friends and I.
Curunir Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Keep in mind that the mod will reappear when you update, reinstall or reset the modpack, since it is part of Tekkit.
