Just wondering if theres a way to get an automated furnace working i.e pipes from the quarry when you get any ore can you smelt it and move the ingot that was just smelted into a chest?? thanks

Set up a furnace, have buildcraft pipes pump fuel into the bottom of the furnace and ores/smeltable dusts/etc into the top. Pump finished products out the sides.

Hmm its that simple when you say fuel do you mean coal?

so i setup this just for quickness and nothing is moving ? am i doing something noobish

You'll need to install some engines on the wooden extraction pipes for them to function. Redstone engines should suffice.
