Awesomeb Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Once you've installed tekkit they are already in the {Minecraft Root}/mods folder. If you wish to install more add the additional files to that mod folder. (Use mods that have been ported to bukkit) http://mcportcentral.co.za/wiki/index.php?title=Ports_for_1.2.5 (thanks vid7)
zeus5966 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Just so you know, it is probably a bad idea, because of the sheer amount of item ID's that are in Tekkit. I can almost guarantee that there will be conflicts with whatever item-adding mod you may add to tekkit.
Awesomeb Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 I agree with Zeus. You would need to be extra careful.. its not like bukkit plugins..
sincerecorn Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 well, i want to add a treecapitator mod or a mod like that. Also when i do add it it says it has no mods in the file.
Torezu Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 ChopTree 2 works - but it's a plugin, not a mod, so it goes in the server's plugins folder.
