Redpower tubes with automatic crafting?

For some reason I thought that redpower tubes worked with the automatic crafting tables, but apparently not. Is there any way to do automated crafting without using buildcraft pipes?

Thanks! It is a little sad though that Buildcraft is all but dead. Logistic pipes in SMP will help though.
