If, through your own skill, you are able to get it working on Windows you are welcome to do so. Otherwise, using a supported platform is required. That being said, the requirements to get it working on Windows are the same as everything in the tutorials for Linux. If you are unable to apply those instructions to Windows you may not be ready to deploy. Quote
