Changing Tekkit Texture

Ok so I noticed on a couple of videos of Tekkit some people are using differnt textures and I really dislike the vanilla Minecraft texture so is there any way to change it? Also if I wanted to use a 32x32 rather than a 16x16 is there a way to add Optifine to the mods in the Technic Launcher?

2. Optifine is already in Technic and Tekkit.

You use texture packs just like you would with Vanilla Minecraft.

I found http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/930532-misa-companion-textures-for-ic2bc-and-additional-pipes/ to be a good one. Just make sure you use MCpatcher to turn off randommobs otherwise they become invisible. or don't if you like a challenge.
