Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted July 10, 2015 Discord Moderator Share Posted July 10, 2015 I would recommend using NEI Addons (release) and NEI Integration over NEI Plugins. I was under the impression Tinkers' worked with TeamCoFH Nether Ores now?
Marconis77
Thanks an Tconstruct does work with Nether ores
Marconis77
I updated forestry and some CoFH mods for the NEI. Crashed, NoClassDefFoundError: codechicken/nei/recepie/ICraftHandler Full report: http://pastebin.com/sUSd1Lkf BTW: I have both NEI addons and integration. Should I remove one and if so which one? Marconis77
Do I add core mods to server and should I add treecaptiator to server? BTW: I updated with thaumcraft nei and waila
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted July 13, 2015 Discord Moderator Share Posted July 13, 2015 All the SMP mods in the client pack must also be on the server. All "client only" mods must be removed. This is explained quite clearly in one of my original responses to you in this thread. If there is something about that post you don't fully understand please ask specific questions and I will attempt to address them.
Marconis77
Do I add bspkrsCore or ExtraTiC? Also is there any reason that a mac-book wouldn't be able to run my mod?
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted July 15, 2015 Discord Moderator Share Posted July 15, 2015 bspkrsCore is a required dependency mod for TreeCapitator and should be in the /mods/1.7.10/ folder. ExtraTiC requires Tinkers' Construct to be in the pack. Modpacks should not be platform dependent as long as they are properly assembled.
Marconis77
Do all core mods go in that folder and do I have any other mods that need to be moved there?
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted July 15, 2015 Discord Moderator Share Posted July 15, 2015 bspkrsCore, ForgeMultipart (which should be updated), MrTJPCore all belong in /mods/1.7.10/.
Marconis77
Is this for both the mod pack on technic and the server?
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted July 15, 2015 Discord Moderator Share Posted July 15, 2015 (edited) The only real difference between the client and server is that the server doesn't use a /bin/ folder (that is specific to the Technic Launcher) and that all client only mods must be removed from the server. Otherwise everything is the same. I'll once again refer you to the original link I provided on turning a client pack into a server. There are plenty of details there. Marconis77
When I ran the server I looked in my mods folder and a IC2 folder has generated. Also in mods/1.7.10, Baubles-1.7.10-1.0.1.10 and Code ChickenLib -1.7.10-1.1.3.138 have been added. Should I add them to my modpack? In the IC2 folder there is just EJML-core
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted July 16, 2015 Discord Moderator Share Posted July 16, 2015 It is always better to provide the files in the modpack archive instead of letting them be deploaded (dependency loaded) dynamically.
Marconis77
I added the config files but it still doesn't work on mac is there any reason?
Marconis77
I checked for differences in the directories on my windows 7 and my sisters mac. Macs don't have the asm, assets, blueprints, ccl_modular, compendiumunlocks, compendiumunUpdates, CustomDISkins, resourcepacks, options, stencil1, stencil2, stencil3, and usernamecache folders. I have also been told by a friend that many packs don't work on apple and he will be able to provide a list if you want one.
