Description of Problem: When launching after updating to 3.1, I get an error that slot 178 is already taken. Sorry, no option for 3.1 Above. 0 Vovin777 Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 I have the same issue. I don't want to go poking about with the ID's. If I run it on a Windows server I see the conflicts but it still fires up fine. It will not progress past this on Ubuntu Server 12.04? I have tested with a clean new install same problem.

0 Gizmo Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 These errors are normal and can be ignored. no, they cannot, it seems they can be ignored on windows, but on linux it crashes the server. really, I tried, with the exact same files (copied the same folder back and forth) my dedicated server that is running from a different location is running linux. MineOS to be specific, 3.0.4 worked just fine.

Those conflicts aren't the issue. It's probably something else. Is there ANOTHER conflict issue that you aren't showing me in the bug report? Pastebin your log.
0 Vovin777 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 This seems to be a common issue. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/block-conflicts-3-1-1.16355/ I have tested this with three different Ubuntu Server 12.04 Configurations, all Vanilla all clean installs of both the server OS and Tekkit server 3.1.1. I Will pastebin my server log this evening, but I suspect it Will be the same as above, It just halts as soon as it hits a conflict.

0 TheBard Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Here's my log. The server seems to start up fine on Ubuntu 11.10 w/ OpenJDK 7... at least in my case, the error seems as if it can be ignored. No one wants to downgrade or switch their OS though. http://pastebin.com/HBwc6GZP Nuka37 your error log is showing this error: "Unsupported major.minor version 51.0" Doesn't that mean that your server is not running Java 7? You need Java 7, or you will receive that "Unsupported major.minor version 51.0" error. I'd recommend fixing that first?

0 Arsenius Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 I noticed that alot of the EE items aren't working as they did in v3.0.4; for example, Swiftwolf's Rending Gale ring will not work at all anymore. The sounds trigger, as well as the animations, but nothing else happens. Is anyone else having these issues? have you read the EE patchnotes? SRG wil now correctly need fuel (like coal) or EMC. this was supposed to be like this and it was a bug that you could fly without

0 -Blizzard- Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Bumping this post, as I am also experiencing this same error, I was forced to backdate to 3.0.4 until a public fix has been released.(On linux machines it prevents the server from starting.)

The only reason you would get that error is if you did not properly extract your config files! Re-download the Tekkit server and re-extract all the files. And of course, make sure to back up.

Java Version: Don't know, But it worked before update.
Description of Problem:
When launching after updating to 3.1, I get an error that slot 178 is already taken.
Sorry, no option for 3.1 Above.
