Minecraft doesn't launch

I am trying to make a Mianite server with all the Mianite mods. The server part is all done but all I need to do is install and play the modpack. I have downloaded recommended, latest, and even different versions of the mianite modpack. Though, every time I click play it is loading at the bottom of the technic launcher and then it just brings me back to the mod page in technic launcher like nothing ever happened. Can somebody please help me so I can finish my server. Thank you.

Looks like i had the same problem today, and i managed to fix it.

It might be that you have Java 8 and if you do so, it won't launch the game.

Uninstall Java 8 and after that install Java 7.
