Question
aj1062
So, today I logged into the Technic Launcher to play Tekkit. I had version 1.2.9g and saw an "update" to version 1.0. Impulsively, I updated to the new "recommended" version by deleting 1.2.9g and trying to install 1.0...
Except I couldn't. I got an error saying something about how tekkit-1.0.zip didn't exist. I looked around for 1.2.9g, but the only version available was 1.0. The launcher was also offline at this point, so that might explain some things.
So, I closed out of the launcher and logged back in again, and this time I saw 1.2.9g. The launcher no longer had the offline blip at the top. I tried to install 1.2.9g again, but I got the following message:
An error was raised while attempting to read pack info for modpack tekkitmain, build 1,2,9g: Server returned HTTP response code for URL: http://solder.technicpack.net/api/modpack/tekkitmain/1.2.9g/?cid=34a3d3db-3986-4942-9fd2-6dbae6124f14
I tried to install it again, but it timed out.
I restarted the launcher AGAIN, to find the result of attempting to install Tekkit was the same as the first time. Only this time, I realized all my modpacks did the same thing! All of them were at "1.0- Recommended"!
I am not a computer whiz, but I think it may have something to do with my launcher being messed up.
Can someone please help?
