tekkit to BC 3.1.6

anyone tried upgrading tekkit to BC 3.1.6 I'm thinking of trying to put a new server together (not tekkit but manually built) as a base to build from so that I'll be ready to do it but I'm quite interested if any of you guys tried the process?

I wonder guys, since it's gonna be my first time building a server for myself (a modded server that is) is there any importance to making it craftbukkit if I don't intend to have any plugins for it? it's really just a close friends only server.

For one thing, don't bump your posts. On the other hand, BuildCraft Version 3.x.xx doesn't work on SMP.

I saw a bukkit port of buildcraft 3.1.6 just the other day mate, it's a beta version but you should catch up to date, also whats wrong with bumping?...

Well give me another way to make sure someone who might be able to help sees this, I did make sure that this thread is nowhere near the front page before I bumped

That's kinda the point. If it's dead, and no one is replying after a couple days, create a new thread. (Mods, feel free to call me out on this.)

Or nobody here has tested it or knows how to help you. My guess it that it would work, as long as you reconfigure the IDs/configs to work with the other mods in the pack, as well as you install it onto your client with the exact same configuration.
