Der_Cow Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Ok, so I had my induction furnace wired up to my MFSU through the appropriate transformers, and it kept exploding. So then I decided to hook up a BatBox after the MFSU to feed power to the induction furnace, and it still keeps exploding! The BatBox and everything else I have wired up is fine, I don't understand it. I have a singularity compressor, recycler, charging bench, and rotary macerator hooked up to it and they're all fine. Does anyone know what the heck is going on? Links to pictures on Gyazo (I'm new to these forums and I can't seem to figure out how to add spoilers or images): Where I'm putting it: http://gyazo.com/68e18f2883a961ac3777bfcc5944c7fe The MFSU and and transformers: http://gyazo.com/65bb0ff0c228a8d558a233c7b2adbeff Cables coming from MFSU: http://gyazo.com/99b00a6d68b07c2b36be5505db5fb5fa The charging bench (under transmutation tablet): http://gyazo.com/4fafdf40992eb2c1af409348cd96672c
charcharmunro Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Are you accidentally applying a redstone signal to your Charging Bench? That turns it into a discharging bench. Otherwise, maybe you have a misplaced cable somewhere.
BurningCake Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Do the other machines have transformer upgrades? Or transformers between them and the MFSU?
Der_Cow Posted September 9, 2012 Author Posted September 9, 2012 I think I'm accidentally applying redstone signal to the charging bench, it's right by my door and I have a pressure plate right next to it, so that must be it. The only thing is the furnace is the only machine of mine that is affected. None of the other ones have transformer upgrades in them.. EDIT: And the furnace isn't closest to the charging bench in my current wiring scheme.
Der_Cow Posted September 9, 2012 Author Posted September 9, 2012 I'll put up some screens when everything is back up.
Der_Cow Posted September 9, 2012 Author Posted September 9, 2012 Added some visual aids. Hopefully they help a bit.
BurningCake Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 That second image, are you trying to convert HV current to LV current, or the other way around? Because if it's the former, the transformers are facing the wrong way...
Pulse95 Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Is this on a server? The owner may have changed configs which may have mixed up EU outputs/inputs.
xchampx13 Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Why do you have two posts for the same thing?
Der_Cow Posted September 9, 2012 Author Posted September 9, 2012 It's my own server, and I haven't messed with any configs. The transformers are facing the correct way. All my other machines are fine, it's just the furnace. Edit: I made two posts because I posted this here first and then realized this forum is for Technic..
