Charlie Beckett Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Hello everyone, I am having trouble using the factions plugin v1.2.5 I have been told that is the right version to use however the plugin works and makes the .jpson files in the factions folder however no config files come up & ingame if I type any faction commands it doesn't reply with anything? Please Help! Regards, Charlie Quote
Kull14 Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 It isn't compatible with tekkit I don't think Quote
gavjenks Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Factions in general is obviously compatible with tekkit, since there are like 40 tekkit faction servers. Dunno if that particular version is. Be sure you're using a bukkit ported factions (unless factions is natively a bukkit plugin, I don't even know). Quote
Octo Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 factions beta 1.7.5 problem solved I have factions and towny running on my server at the same time without problems also, i would suggest that you enter the factions config commands throught the console and not ingame Quote
awesomeo_5000 Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 I too am finding issues with Factions Beta 1.7.5 with Tekkit, no other mods installed. When I try typing a faction command, such as f create nothing happens and the chat returns the following string: 20.09 19:51:07 [server] INFO [Factions v1.7.5_dev] Reset faction data (invalid faction) for player awesomeo_5000 20.09 19:51:07 [server] WARNING [Factions v1.7.5_dev] Non existing factionId 0 requested! Issuing cleaning! Can't seem to find a cause for it all... Quote

awesomeo_5000 Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 I tried that too, no joy. I've contacted my server provider to see if he can enlighten me on the situation. Will update if I find the root of the issue. Thanks for your help Octo. Quote

I downloaded the .zip file (there was no .jar available as far as i know) and im not sure what to do with it. I tried changing it to a JAR but kept getting an error with "plugin.yml" saying it is invalid. Can someone please help? Quote
