When launching tekkit, says "checking launcher version" then closes.

Antivirus Program: Kaspersky

OK,

Downloaded Tekkit.

Ran tekkit.

it says "checking launcher version" then closes.

I read there are trouble with 32-bit machines,

Any way to run it ?

Second, try running the .JAR launcher instead of the .EXE launcher.

Your Windows username may have a space or other funny character, this will break the Windows launcher and you should use the Linux/JAR launcher instead.

I think his problem is that he is missing a bit in his 32bit system... That or he is from the future with his super updated 3.1 Launcher version.

It probably doesn't help that I make practically all my posts on my iPhone or iPad. Even with the wireless keyboard I have for my iPad, I still type slower than I do on my PC.
