Launcher Version: 3.1

Operating System: Windows XP

Java Version: I don't know.

Antivirus Program: Bitdefender Total Security 2012

Description of Problem:

Downloaded the 3.1 Technic Launcher (the one on the Tekkit page), and when I click on it to run it it pops up for a second saying 'Checking Launcher Version' and then closes.

Error Messages:

None.

Error Log:


None?

There is a patch for this issue, but it is not yet released. Currently the Windows launcher will not successfully launch under Windows XP. Use the Linux/JAR file launcher instead until we get it fixed.

Not an excuse for not following the rules. If you killed someone in the US and got caught, do you think you would be off the hook because "you just moved here?"
