"Loading Mods from /Mods"

Every time I start up my tekkit server, it gives me this error:

I just moved boxes from my old tekkit server, and copy pasted everything. Can someone please help me.

That's not an error, that's your server telling you it's loading the mods. Don't worry about it. If you hit any real errors, they'll say [Error], and generally be the last thing your server says rather than the first.

The error is that it just says that and I guess freezes. Nothing happens. The server doesn't start.

Have you added in any mods yourself?

Also, have you tried connecting to your server like this?

My server on my other box is running fine. I copy pasted the files from that box to my new one. Didn't change anything

Try reinstalling the Tekkit server, and see if that does anything.

I'm in the same boat as Jake, I have a tekkit server running just fine on a "shared hosting" server (AvanteHosting). I went out and purchased a 1U dedicated server from a company with Centos 6.3, installed everything I need, got multicraft, etc... I'm able to load up a regular minecraft server just fine, but once I try to load up tekkit, it stops at loading mods from /mods (screen shot http://puu.sh/1hBx3). If anyone has advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Were you guys ever able to figure this out? I am getting the exact same error when using multicraft. It has been stuck there for the longest time, not quite sure what to make of it.

Instead up necroing an old thread, why don't you head to the bug reports forums where this should be posted anyways, and open a bug report...
