Jorcer Posted October 31, 2012 Share Posted October 31, 2012 There is a good getting started guide in the modding section and the modders there are all very helpful (jajk is outspoken but a very good modder ) Try looking at those guides and asking for some help if you need it. bwillb Posted November 1, 2012 Share Posted November 1, 2012 Well first of all Tekkit isn't a game, it itself is a compilation of mods. What you want to learn how to make are Minecraft mods. You'll want to start with looking up MCP and Forge for that. If you want to modify existing mods, you'll have to see if they are open-source or have an API.
