Is there anyway to autojoin a server after disconnecting?

I need to afk overnight so my energy collectors in SMP can work. The server has no afk-kick mod and the staff is fine with players afking overnight for this. Whenever I attempt to afk for long periods of time, my client disconnects me, saying something like "Software Recv Failed". I've tried both of these mods, but neither work. (No autoreconnect option when I dc)

Note: I used the 1.2.5 version.

Is there anyway to NOT dc while afking or a mod that will autoreconnect me (that works on Tekkit)?

Why don't you just use a world anchor?
