sevdeawesome Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) Hey, I remember you! Anyways, heres what you need to do: Im assuming you already have all the other server files down, if not then let me know. -Install kcauldron, cauldron, and bukkit, maybe spigot too. Throw em all into your server, the only problem is that these downloads are no longer offered by the developers, often server hosts have the files, and will provide you with these files, but the developer of cauldron quit working on it. Thats when this Russian dude (I think hes russian) developed kcauldron. Im guessing in your run.bat or launch.bat or whatever you called it, you are running your server with Forge as the jar file, switch that to kcauldron.jar in the run.bat script. Once you've done that, simply run your server. Be careful when you go find a cauldron download, as I said, the creator no longer offers it, so people may try to be giving you viruses. In my server, Im using a professional host who lets you choose what jar file you want to use, and I just chose kcauldron. If you're looking for a good host that could help you with that I would suggest two: https://www.bisecthosting.com/ and https://apexminecrafthosting.com/. I use bisecthosting and I really like them, technic is supported by apex minecraft hosting, and they have a lot of modpack/modded server support. Hope this helps you! P.S. Why is all the text for your modpack in caps, it feels like Im being yelled at! Edited March 23, 2016 by sevdeawesome
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted March 23, 2016 Discord Moderator Posted March 23, 2016 As stated in the last thread you started: Custom server support requests belong in Server Op Swap Shop. Hopefully a forum mod will move this. Always provide the API URL or a link to the Platform Pack Page when requesting custom modpack assistance (even for a server). Making a server basically means: 1) Do This. 2) Switch to Thermos.
