[FIXED] Difficulty Downloading Using Technic Launcher

I, like several others it seems. Have been having difficulty downloading ANY of the modes available (Vanilla, Tekkit, Technic, and YOGBox) through the technic launcher.

Despite all my efforts to get any of these to download I am consistently getting stuck at a random percentage and then receiving a download failed message.

I have tried running as an administrator, disabling firewalls, deleting and re-downloading, several different networks, and allowing it as an exception (as well as full out disabling) my anti-virus.

I am running:

Windows 64-bit

1 GB allocated with 4 available

Cleleron Processor (I know.)

AVG anti-virus.

Now I have gotten the pack to download on my desktop and am running a server off of it as we speak, but I consistently cannot download it off of my laptop.

That thought led me to this one, Could it be that the downloader has difficulty with wireless networks? Because of the sort of "burst" style of transmission for Wi-Fi the launcher may be affected by the lack of constant stream of data. I am going to attempt a download via hard wire once I get home, and I will post the results. In the mean time, any technicians or other forum-goers feel free to post your thoughts.

EDIT: I have downloaded both the server AND the client on my desktop, and both are fully functional

EDIT Mk2: I have (stupidly) realized that my vanilla minecraft (outside the launcher) is no longer downloading either so it may be something on Mojang's end that is causing a problem. hmmm.....
