goldengamer365 Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 hey uys i was just wondering what is more powerful than the bat box because mine keeps exploding when i connect it to my nuclear reactor
Synthetica Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 hey uys i was just wondering what is more powerful than the bat box because mine keeps exploding when i connect it to my nuclear reactor And, if you still have exploding issues with your mfsu, you want a HV transformer between your reactor and your MFSU
DemonCrusher36 Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 LOL, building a nuclear reactor and hooking it up to a batbox? lolololoololololol. You know why? because you have the highest tier of energy going into the lowest storage. Get a MFE, then a MFSU.. by the way, go look at the wiki.. You also need a transformer.
sleepyscumbag Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 jaffa cakes EDITED VERSION BELOW both energy crystals, and laptron crystal is more powerful than batbox. just keep in mind, that you can only recharge and discharge energy crystal in mfe, and laptron crystal in mfsu MOD EDIT: UNFUNNY SHITPOST
BlasterMaster555 Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Yeah my stable reactors make 40-80 EU/t, which is much more than the batbox can handle. Unless you're making an ice eater, you should be able to do an MFE. Now before you go breaking your MFE, put an MV transformer between the reactor and it
Synthetica Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Unless you're making an ice eater By the way, anyone with EE enabled does that, I think? I mean 1800 eu/t for free (well, allmost free)
MechaCrash Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 With EE installed, CASUC reactors are a lot less of a pain in the ass to make than regular ones. Assuming I have the materials on hand, I can make the extra bits I need for a CASUC reactor in just a couple of minutes, but making all the components I need for my preferred Mark II-1 design and then placing them can take the better part of an hour because so much of the shit doesn't stack. And that's after setting up automatic crafting tables to smooth things over.
