BouncyCreeper Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Every time I try to run my friend's custom pack (which works for no one) it doesn't actually load the pack, closes technic for a short time then reopens it without playing the pack. The name of the pack is sci-fantasy 2.10. Quote
Moderators Munaus Posted April 29, 2018 Moderators Posted April 29, 2018 if it doesn't work then the issue is with the pack itself, not the launcher. Moved to Platform Pagoda posting a link to the pack is better than just posting its name. Nobody wants to do extra work by searching your friend should post here with the dropbox link to the pack, or whichever he chose as a host, so someone can see how he set it up. Quote

I'm almost positive it's setup entirely wrong. Here's the dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/y1q6l31t899s9mn/modpack.zip?dl=1 and here's the pack: https://www.technicpack.net/modpack/bouncycreeper-test.1221323 Look's like it's just the download link for the dropbox but it works. BouncyCreeper Posted April 29, 2018 Author Posted April 29, 2018 If someone could give instructions for configuring a modpack that would be great. Quote

This is a 1.7.10 modpack, right? The libs folder should not be there. Move it into a 1.7.10 folder inside the mods folder. I see the following: - Mekanism for 1.12.2. - Thaumcraft for 1.8.9 - TConstruct for 1.12.2 - iChunUtil for 1.10.2 And that's the mods that do have version tags. Can't tell anything about the other ones without a log. Quote
