Modpack Launches in vanilla (1.16.1)

Hello, so I know in the past their has been problems with 1.12 packs but this is a 1.16.1 pack that works perfectly fine in the normal minecraft launcher. In the technic launcher for everyone that's playing on it is vanilla. The mods are in the mod folder but doesn't work.

This is my 4th modpack, the past ones have been sub 1.12.2 so that might be the problem but I really dont want to have to have everyone download the mods the old fashioned way.

Rename the installer not the universal, forge changed this in more recent versions.

Neither will the dropbox link work, as it doesn't take .rar's, only .zip files.

Good point I didn't even notice that, I just opened it and saw the modpack.jar was 4360kb, which is the size of the universal

Yep, got a little tired at the end and forgot to change the file extension to .zip after the fifth troubleshoot. Thanks for the info, was looking for that fix all day!
