0 Verrou Posted March 20, 2012 Author Posted March 20, 2012 Still doing it, have reinstalled Java and everything...
0 conkey122 Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 That happens to me too, I tried joining the server I usually play on and that happens :(
0 BorderKeeper Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,4777.0.html Ye I made a topic about it. Have the same problem. Nobody seems to care though. I found out it happens only to my server when I join it. Doesnt happen to other servers.
0 extant1 Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 KI had this issue myself, I fixed it by clearing the download cache and having tekkit download and rebuild itself. If that doesn't work go to %appdata% and find ".tekkitlauncher" backup any single player worlds/textures then delete it and start fresh. That should help.
0 ZephireNZ Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 I had this problem on my brother's client. No matter what I did (remove .techniclauncher, deleted & redownload launcher) it would always crash upon connecting to my server, and only mine (I run the server). I decided to do a complete refresh of the server, and found out that the fault was not the client at all, but the world files. For some reason, my world files somehow conflicted with his client, but not mine. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? I really don't want to have to start a new world to let him play, but I really do want him to.
0 perpetualgamer Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 The area that he spawns in, does it contain advanced machines? (Rotary Macerator, yada yada)
0 Neero Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Might be a quarry that has spit out all the items on the ground while the person have been offline. Have happened twice on my server.
0 ZephireNZ Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Cool thanks I'll check both of those out. They both seem like something that could happen to him. It won't kill me if I go near it? :L Just a note though, this has been happening for at least a few weeks so I'm not sure if the items spat out from a quarry would even last that long.
