KI had this issue myself, I fixed it by clearing the download cache and having tekkit download and rebuild itself. If that doesn't work go to %appdata% and find ".tekkitlauncher" backup any single player worlds/textures then delete it and start fresh. That should help.

I had this problem on my brother's client. No matter what I did (remove .techniclauncher, deleted & redownload launcher) it would always crash upon connecting to my server, and only mine (I run the server). I decided to do a complete refresh of the server, and found out that the fault was not the client at all, but the world files. For some reason, my world files somehow conflicted with his client, but not mine.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? I really don't want to have to start a new world to let him play, but I really do want him to.

Might be a quarry that has spit out all the items on the ground while the person have been offline. Have happened twice on my server.

Cool thanks I'll check both of those out. They both seem like something that could happen to him. It won't kill me if I go near it? :L

Just a note though, this has been happening for at least a few weeks so I'm not sure if the items spat out from a quarry would even last that long.
