"Composter" what does it and how to use it?

so i found this block called "composter" and i couldn't find anything on the web what this does or how i can use it.

The GUI of the item looks like this:

I tried to apply power and than the row with the flash fills up but i couldn't find any way.

Perhaps someone can help me. Thanks!

It's from the Minefactory Reloaded 2.0 mod. It turns sewage into fertilizer

It's for turning sewage from animals into fertilizer for your, well, fertilizer.
