Pr0sAndCon5 Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Has anyone tried and succeeded in putting Smart-Moving into Tekkit Lite? Either Client Or Server side? If anyone has I would greatly appreciate it if they could give me the details.
havocx42 Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Yes it's possible. Just install as normal but put the files into modpack.jar instead of minecraft.jar.
Bentley Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Yes it's possible. Just install as normal but put the files into modpack.jar instead of minecraft.jar. What about installing it into the server? Do I need to put any files anywhere or can me and my friend just run it individually and still work?

I have tried this and have not been able to get it to work. And which way do I install it? Which standalone files. Also I would like to know how to put it in a server. While some functions will work client side on a server, many are still impaired.

Same for me, I put the files into my modpack.jar for minecraftforge/modloader.zip and it made me crash immediately after the mojang screen.
havocx42 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 For the client: 1. Download "Player API", "Render Player API" and "Smart Moving". 2. Extract the files in "Player API" into %appdata%/.techniclauncher/tekkitlite/bin/modpack.jar 3. Extract the files in "Render Player API" into %appdata%/.techniclauncher/tekkitlite/bin/modpack.jar 4. extract the files in the SmartMoving zip/"Smart Moving Client for ModLoader or Minecraft Forge.zip" into %appdata%/.techniclauncher/tekkitlite/bin/modpack.jar
Pr0sAndCon5 Posted January 10, 2013 Author Posted January 10, 2013 Thank you so much! Now just the issue of server side installation
Teraku Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Simply download the serverside player API and install it into the server, and then install smart moving into the server. Done.
havocx42 Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Exactly as the installation instructions say, to install the server you: 1. Extract the files in the Player API zip into the TekkitLite.jar 2. Extract the files in SmartMoving.zip/Smart Moving Server for Minecraft Forge.zip/ into the TekkitLite.jar
