turtledee
I just made a Tekkit server and port forwarded. I am able to connect via my local ip and my public ip. My friends are able to join via my public ip. However, if my friends or I connect through my public IP, only a small portion of the map loads. If I connect via local ip (192.) everything loads perfectly. Any suggestions? turtledee
We are also unable to collect blocks in the public version.
Teraku
You probably have ForgeEssentials set up incorrectly. Try making someone operator or disable protection in FE configs and see if you can collect blocks. And how fast is your download and especially upload speed? turtledee
The issue was my upload speed. There is something wrong with Asus Network iControl. As soon as I disabled it my server worked perfect and my internet was wayyyy faster. Thanks for the help Teraku.
Teraku
No problem, I've seen network drivers act up a lot. I've even seen a friend with "killer" drivers which basically stole the bandwidth of all the wireless networks in range. Like a wireless jamming device. Seriously.
