New to the forums here.

I play on a server that a couple of my friends built.

Last night I'm trying to set up a quarry on a max size land area (64x64).

To my dismay, when I drop the quarry, the black/yellow strips follow them, but when I power it up (IC2 with energy link and MV solar), the frames start making a 9x9 box and completely ignore the black/yellow strip.

Nothing is blocking the land marks btw. I cleared out the blocks along the strip, and you all know that the quarry alreadyy clears out the area where it intends to place the crane.

I've powered them before successfully, on a custom size and even built one for one of the admins using his account and same power config.

Any thoughts?

Well he said it worked before so I'm guessing he did it right. Try shinking the size by one block to be 63x63 and see if that works.

yes. Like i said, when I place the quarry down, the B/Y frame follows the LM like it should, but then when I power it, the orange frame just goes default

Lordlundar: No. Spawn is a good ways away, and I have no claims to the area. That prevents the crane from mining.

luke: placed smaller intervals on LMs, still spawning 9x9 frame. Didn't get measurements, but smaller definitely.

Lothos: the server is about to go public and the main admin is banning certain things, but I told him last night and he didn't know what the deal was either. I'll double check and see if he isn't lying. :/

well, the 9x9 means its ignoring the landmarks for one reason or another.

place 4 ( or 5 :) )

right click one

plant quarry next to the right clicked one ( yes it matters )

its a bug i think. the admin is trying to fix it.

Did you make sure it's placed on one of the corners of the marked out area? That should fix it. If not, then I don't know what the problem is.
