i want to build a crafting logistics pipe mk3.

I've fallen over at the first hurdle of creating a nano hopper.

This needs to be created in a soldering station.

i've built one of these but can't figure out how to use it.

I've replicated the pattern shown in NEI into the soldering station but nothign happens.

I've tried putting coal into the right hand box but it won't accept it. I tried powering it through glass cable but again nothing.

How do i get this thing to actually do something?

You mean an assembly table right? To make logistic pipes.

You'll need to power the Assembly table with Lasers.

Which are powered by Engines or energy pipes, they need quite a lot of energy, 1 Combustion engine will power 1 laser at max efficiency.

The Assembly Table needs to be in range of 4 blocks I think.

And uhh, besides that, I have no idea how the Logistic pipes work :P

Wish i could tell you more about it. I've spent some time googling and turned up nothing. It's not on tekkit wiki or the tekkit lite wiki. I don't even know what addin it's coming from. All I can do is links some pics...

No, it's the soldering station. You put in the right hand box a piece of iron. It's called a soldering station for gods sake, the iron is used to solder the items together.

Tin would've been slightly more realistic.

Double-click the NEI search bar. It will fix the greyed out inventory.

you use electric engines but i dont know how to power the engines

Though you've necro'd this thread which was about to hit the age of one month and that it is a very easy question to answer, I'll just answer it.

Why is it an electric engine? Because you power it with IC2 electricity. >.>
