JonZeEpic Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I have a transposer that is to suck out of a chest to feed to my sorting machine, but it's not working. I have a timer hooked up to it, but it isn't pulsing. Any help? SCREENSHOT:
Industrial Miner Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Could you post screenshots of where the tube is leading to? It is either a power problem, wrong mode on the machines or there is no space in the storage. Hint, there is a new mode on the sorting machines which allows it to suck stacks out at a time without needing a timer.
MrKekson Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 filter can suck next to a stuff, retriever can suck from afar
Lethosos Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 But retrievers tend to behave oddly; I would test how useful retrievers would be in your setup in Creative instead.
Industrial Miner Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 The OP clearly said that he pumps the items into a Sorting machine. And guess what, it's in Tekkit Lite, which means that it has the autopumping mode. No filter or retriever of any kind is required in between!
Lethosos Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Correct, but retrievers can be used as a mass relay to pull stuff out of storage. I'm just not sure Eloraam fixed the "first available retriever" bug they have, even if that's a useful behavior to exploit.
Industrial Miner Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Also true, but I don't think that mass extraction is what the OP wants, looking at the transposer he tried to use.
MrKekson Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 with retrivulator you can fix it, it stuck your retriver if the requirements met, so none of the items accepted by it any more, just change the transposer to a filter, that must work transposer should work too, chk ur piping, and make shure thet the shorting machine wont stuck because of unshorted items ( send them with no colour trough a restriction pipe )

MrKekson Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 That's rather slow and costs a lot more than my first solution, the autopumping mode. it was a solution for the retriever routing problem, not to OPs post, the second part was for OP, but a retrivuletor should work too with that chest
watsonj11 Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Are You sure the problem isn't just that the timer is facing the wrong way? Isn't it supposed to be on a 90 degree angle to the transposer ?
MrKekson Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 its the right way, u can feed a signal from the back to turn it off, but the 3 other sides can provide signal, alltrough you can feed signal in from there too
watsonj11 Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 OH stupid me I always take ages trying to get them that way round
