trevorwhatever Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 Yeah, it's not working for me, either. I would say you could either convince him/her that it's broken, move on to another pack, or make your own. (quite a fun process, if I do say so myself) yeah I tried making one but I failed at it. lukeb28 Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 I can't help out right now but would be happy to try later. Start with posting your modpack files and I'll see if I can find what the problem is. Quote

lukeb28 Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 You didn't use a public folder did you? Theirs your issue. The platform doesn't like that form of drop box. You have to enable to public folder and host the pack from that. Quote

EliasErik Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 OK, here is a small list of easier instructions: 1. Download the Minecraft 1.4.6 JAR file by clicking this 2. Replace it with the existing file in Roaming >.minecraft > bin (access Roaming by clicking Start, typing "%appdata%", then pressing ENTER 3. Download Digimobs 0.8.0Prev.rar by clicking on this. Right Click > Rename it to "Digimobs 0.8.0Prev.zip". 4. Download Minecraft Forge and open it from here (just double click on the file and it will open with Windows Explorer, which is what you want) 5. On your minecraft.jar, Right Click > Rename. Rename it to "minecraft.zip". (Double click this file to open it also) 6. Put the files in the Minecraft Forge ZIP file into the minecraft.zip. If any prompts come up asking you to 'Merge' or 'Copy and Replace' then do so. 7. Close the two ZIPs then Right Click > Rename to replace the name back to "minecraft.jar" 8. Go into Roaming > .minecraft, then add a folder called "mods". Put the Digimobs ZIP file into the mods folder. YOU'RE ALL DONE! ENJOY! Note: if it asks you to update upon launching, click NO. Note 2: This is made as simple as possible and doesn't require WinRAR or 7zip or crap. Works with the default Windows set of programs. Quote
lukeb28 Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Thats not his issue. His issue is his web host dosent like the platform so he has to enable somthing called a public folder and host it from that. Quote

miniboxer Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 3. Download Digimobs 0.8.0Prev.rar by clicking on this. Right Click > Rename it to "Digimobs 0.8.0Prev.zip". Zip and rar aren't the same format. It will corrupt the archive if you rename it. Quote
