Some Infos about the new Tekkit Lite version?

Redpower and IC2 isnt on the list. Is there a chance we get them back? Whats the problem?

I believe there have been other threads which indicate that things are not stable, therefore the omission of some mods should not be taken as the final list.

Also, this is Tekkit, not Tekkit Lite which you have linked to. I am hopeful there will be an upgrade path from Tekkit Lite as it seems like most of the mods are the same. Or possibly will Tekkit Lite be reintegrated into the "Tekkit" brand.

Time will tell I'm sure.

IC2 and RP2 have been removed in favor of other mods. MineFactory Reloaded and Immibis' mods now do the exact same thing RP2 and IC2 did (Apart from frames), but better.

Dont forget the Wire and Computercraft API und the funny Lamps and the Forcefield which can cut 4000 Stone in one Tick.

The only thing about CC+RP2 I'll really miss is outputting to bundled cable. But as long as Computers can still output redstone signals, I'm fine.

I wonder what'll happen to Wireless Redstone, though.
