I add the modpack and launch it, and it is vanilla 1.4.7, with no mods installed.

This is with every modpack I use. I have the latest version of technic launcher. I am running Windows 7 x86. Please help

First of all, this belongs to Platform Pagoda.

Second, follow the guide in this thread and see if it works for you afterwards.

Thank you for saying it belongs in platform pagoda. I looked at the link. Im not making a modpack, I'm trying to put one onto my technic launcher. And its coming out vanilla.

Does it happen with every modpack or just that one?

If you haven't tried others, try a different one.

If a different modpack works, it's an issue with the pack you're downloading.

I think I get this problem too

for some reason it just fails to get the "mod" folder at all

it gets coremods and everything else just fine

this problem is because lots of people are too lazy to install forge modloader to their modpack(lol when I typed modpack it edited it to mudpack )

Have you tried one of the bigger modpacks featured on the front page? If those don't work, then you know for sure it's a problem on your end. If the featured modpacks do work, then the creators of the modpacks you've tried probably haven't tested their pack at all.

Oh it must be the buggy modpacks - I downloaded a front page modpack and it worked fine I presumed it was a problem with the tekkit launcher because it seemed to be the same problem with all the non-front page modpacks
