How to craft MFR machines...

Hello, I have been trying to craft the MFR (Minefactory Reloaded) machines, using the following recipe:

S S S

(P=plastic sheet, S= smooth stone)

Is this correct? If so, it's not working for me, and NEI has no record of the item being in the modpack. Would I have to re-download the modpack?

The base machine, in minefactory, used to craft almost all minefactory machines. The recipe i used is found in the following link:

Pretty sure it needs iron, gold and glass. I've made a bunch of them and they're definitely not that simple to make.

Find one of the machines in NEI and hit "R" on it. I believe that MFR is using Thermal Expansion-based recipes in this pack.

That is correct. I believe this is an effort to unify recipes, but almost every single non-magical machine in Tekkit uses TE machine blocks as a base.
