Maitreya
Uncertain if this is the proper location for such issues, in fact quite certain there is a technical problems subforum I've missed. Regardless, I've come upon a debilitating problem where singleplayer functions without error, however joining a multiplayer server causes my graphics card to crash after a few seconds and appears to crash the client. I'll post details such as any crash reports in the morning, simply putting it up so anybody who's encountered this particular thing before can post about it while I sleep. Common questions I'm sure I'll get: -Yes I am using the most up-to-date edition of Java and video-drivers. -Yes I have increased launcher memory. -No I do not have a texture-pack running. -No I've not had this issue in vanilla or mo'creatures clients. Magister
how do you know your graphics card is crashing? have you looked up in the event viewer for windows to see if the driver is actually crashing or if something else is? do you have a crash report for your client? Maitreya
Looking through my files and picking apart every folder I can, I simply cannot find a single crash report within my Tekkit files. However, as I said every time I connect to a server, my graphics card crashes which I know from the behavior of the screen and the accompanying message. Everything goes black, then white, then the client is effectively inoperable and I have a message "Your video card has suffered a crash and has been recovered." I'll play around with it for a bit, there may be something I've missed.

Lethosos
Well, definitely give the insides a good air hosing with a can of compressed air. Check your fans for buildup and ensure good cooling overall. On top of that, when was the last time you updated your graphics drivers?

Dewfire
nVidea Card? Playing on a laptop? Server game probably is requiring more memory due to how it preloads chunks.
CharlieChop
hi guys, i was just wondering if you could provide an explaination for my problem on tekkit classic singleplayer, whenever i look at water in the distance there is a purple tinge and it seems that there are multiple grid lines on blocks. I had the same issue, i fixed it by changing my anti aliasing options, in my nvidia control panel, to aplication controled or sonething likr that. That will fix it.
