Tekkit Launcher running bad.

Not much of a bug. But players keep telling me its bad and i feel the same. IDK if its just the new server or optifine? But the old minecraft ran just fine for me. I have a nice computer i build myself 1000$ later. for some reason it doesn't like optifine. Is there a way to get Tekkit 2.0 for vanilla minecraft launcher Pretty plz with rubber tree resin on top!

The launcher is bad? Ok, why? You haven't said anything here. The new launcher is actually good. Not bad. The new launcher simplifies the process of installing technic to literally button clicks. The new launcher lets you switch between techinc and tekkit and in near future the yogbox as well without having to manage different profiles yourself and spend hours swapping around files. The new launcher lets us fix things and apply the fixes without you having to do any work at all. It lets us update the mods to their current versions immediately so you can play them when they come out, instead of having to wait for all of them to update and be put together in a release version months later. It lets people preview the development builds if they so choose. It prevents people from accidentally updating minecraft to a version incompatible with the installed modpacks. And most importantly it is still being developed and new functionality and features are being added as we speak. Things like the ability to select what mods you want before you download among other things.

It even lets us easily test out versions of technic without optifine to see if it causes that bad lag issue.

So why is it bad exactly? Could it be you have just made assumptions based off nothing? Perhaps that you're blaming a bug with optifine on the launcher itself, which was laboriously built by very hard working people who gave and give almost all their free time for nothing, just so it's easier for you to play a video game with mods? I wonder if that's it.

Please do explain. You're not the first person who has made a pointless no content thread like this trashing the new launcher without even understanding a thing about it. Most of those people didn't like it because it made it harder for them to play minecraft illegally. They all ended up banned. So whats your problem with it? You have given exactly 0 shreds of information to make this thread worth reading.

didnt know it let you update Individual mods on the fly like that, thats awesome

the new launcher makes everything better, specially so you dont update mine craft or get stuff out of date

also i should note, OP if your playing TEKKIT you have the bugged version and thats bad, new version should be out soon

I mentioned "OPTIFINE". I was hoping it was self explanatory that the bad is the Graphics. Along with being terribly slow launching app it's written with some pretty mind-**** code. But I also don't like the fact that I can't launch more then one. I like to have 2 accounts one oped and one not so i can test things extremely quickly and be the best admin i can be ! I want vanilla launcher back -.- Sry you disagree. Sry you spent hours making the new launcher. Sry you have to listen to me bitch n complain. But are you not shooting for perfection? I thot I did well to criticize optifine......but apparently you don't care. So.....appease this asshole and just give me files for vanilla launcher :D

well, the funny part is, you have them all. if you wanna see EXACTLY where the files are and your too lazy to look, go in and click the texture packs button and then the open texture packs folder button and there it all is.

@kysoto. Talking bout performance not texture packs......don't be lazy....read all the posts!

the files to run the game are one directory up from the texture pack folder .you can copy the files over to your default minecraft folder and probably use the default launcher to run it. i honestly havent tried it since the game works fine for me.
