quantum2355 Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Title says it all. because if you just put it in the jar the mod pack won't launch.
nedned2k Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 You install optifine to hexxit the same way you install it to any other technic modpack. Simply take the correct version of optifine and copy the files into the modpack.jar. If that's not working, you're doing something wrong.
quantum2355 Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 Thing is, i never play technic modpacks(: thank you though.

I usually have no problem adding optifine to the modpack.jar but for some reason it won't work with this pack .. have u got it to work ?

AlockA Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 dangit, I didn't know there was a newer version of Optifine (D5) .. thankyou for lettin me know :)
Al3xthegre4t Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Why would you want to install optifine, forge for 1.5.2 has increased the fps of minecraft by 75% and by my experience, sorts out hd textures without the need for optifine
Zythyx Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Minecraft keeps giving this an error when i do try to install optifine. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Minecraft has crashed! ---------------------- Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem; Failed to start game A full error report has been saved to C:\Users\Valdez\AppData\Roaming\.technic\hexxit\crash-reports\crash-2013-06-22_08.02.49-client.txt - Please include a copy of that file (Not this screen!) if you report this crash to anyone; without it, they will not be able to help fix the crash --- BEGIN ERROR REPORT 9af0b5ec -------- Full report at: C:\Users\Valdez\AppData\Roaming\.technic\hexxit\crash-reports\crash-2013-06-22_08.02.49-client.txt Please show that file to Mojang, NOT just this screen!
