Spudgy Posted June 29, 2013 Share Posted June 29, 2013 Steel only works if you have an another mod with Steel registered in the Forge Ore Dictionary. Also, mDiyo is planning on adding Metallurgy support, so that may be the other alloys he speaks of. As suggested in the book, you can make steel by smelting chain mail. It has to be undamaged, but you can easily repair it on the anvil with iron. Looks like you only get 1 ingot per piece. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
chami Posted June 29, 2013 Share Posted June 29, 2013 If you're using the latest version of Hexxit, it has Artifice included. Artifice has a steel recipe where you smelt iron ingots.
