Can't make pump work

With either the tank or the phase pipe, nothing works. Why is my engine just sitting there accumulating energy instead of transferring it into the pump? The conductive stone pipe is connected to the backside of the pump.

You need a wooden conductive pipe connected to the engine

Or just use Energy Conduits, they're much better. Or put the engine directly on the pump, which is easier still.

Wooden conductive pipes extract energy out of engines and bateries. You need one. Also you could just use 4 redstone engies to power the pump. Once those engines reach peak efficiency theyll power the pump quite nicely, no hassle.

Edit: pumps dont need wooden waterproof since they eject automatically into any pipe capable of holding liquids as well as tanks.

Now I just feel stupid. Lol, thanks everyone. I haven't played with this stuff since Tekkit Classic and I've never even heard of energy conduits. I'll look into them.
