phyzix5761 Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Hey guys, excited to be back playing minecraft after a long hiatus. I installed minecraft on my Ubuntu system and it works like a dream. Now I want to install the technicpack to have more fun. I get the technic launcher to run and when I select a mod like tekkit and press Launch it starts downloading files (which is expected) and after a while it opens up two new windows. An FML loader and a Tekkit application. The FML finishes working and closes but the Tekkit application never leaves the grey screen it starts off with. I have tried deleting my .minecraft folder and my .technic folder. I have also deleted the technic launcher and re-downloaded it but I still get the same problem. It's stuck on that grey window. Any ideas on how to fix this? I've been searching for a few hours but all similar problems have ended up unresolved. Maybe there is a solution now? Thanks. Quote

Read the stickied threads to find out which is which. The section you posted in now is for asking about custom made modpacks for the platform. Quote
