Big Dig Problem

I currently started playing Bid Dig but I'm having a major problem starting it as soon as I launch it from the Technic Launcher It opens up the Window for Big Dig but the screen is white and doesn't do anything forcing me to close down the window is there a solution to this problem?

You gotta go into the options on the launcher and up the memory allocation to as high as you can go.

It's the little gear shaped icon next to the red 'X'.

I upped the memory to 1 Gb and I still have the same problem.

"Always use Stable Build"

Memory: (I recommend at least 2Gb of memory)

Check-mark "Increase Permgen Size"

how do you do more than 1gb

Technic Launcher will automatically read what version of Java you have. Unfortunately, the 32-bit Java only allows a max of 1Gb of Memory. The 64-bit version allows you to go higher.

Did you try it with 1Gb and the other settings I mentioned?

I find 1 GB works for me as long as I increase the PermGen.

what IS permgen? i use it but dont actualy know what it means

It 's similar to RAM. All you need to know is to check the box and it should work.
